QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management or Procurement and Supplies Management, or Supply Chain Management from a recognized Higher Learning Institution. The candidate must be registered by the Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technician Board (PSPTB); a holder of CPSP with at least 5 years’ work experience in a similar/related position.  KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Heads the Procurement and Supplies Unit, coordinates day-to-day procurement operations;

iii. Manage and review documents for procurement of all supplies, equipment and services for the company and ensures compliance to Procurement policies procedures, and applicable regulations;

iv. Identify opportunities for cost savings; Provides procurement research, guidance and direction by presenting available procurement options

v. Develop and implement purchase and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures;

vi. Prepares and implements CLICL’s Annual Procurement Plan.

vii. Serves as Secretary to KLICL’s Tender Board, implements Tender Board’s decisions

viii. Prepares Tender Board minutes and maintains all procurement records, disposal

and related activities;

ix. Prepares tender documents for Bidders, and advertisements as per procedure

x. Custodian of procurement documents; responsible for ensuring that records are maintained and the entire procurement process is documented from the beginning to the end.

xi. Inspects the quality of procured items; ensures that suppliers deliver materials and services based on the agreed standards of price, time, quantity and quality;

xii. Ensures that all invoices are audited for compliance with contract terms and supervises contract closeouts;

xiii. Prepares the Unit’s Monthly and Quarterly reports, presents to Management and the Board of Directors;

xiv. Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

THE ROLE
The Regional Management Accountant will work with the Chief Financial Officer-Tanzania. Role requirements:
