Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic Human Resources and Administration Manager to oversee HR operations and administrative support for SINORAY Tanzania. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Tanzanian national laws, enhancing internal systems, and supporting senior management in implementing digital tools that drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Personnel Management
- Maintain and manage staff personnel files
- Lead recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and participating in interviews
- Prepare and manage payroll
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with staff regulations and company handbook
- Coordinate with Country Director on HR governance
2. Office Management
- Supervise support staff (security, cleaners, interns, IT support)
- Manage filing systems (physical and digital)
- Oversee office supplies, assets, and infrastructure
- Ensure office safety and continuity of operations
Corporate Support
- Ensure company registrations and licenses are up to date
- Enforce company policies, especially integrity and compliance standards
- Participate in management meetings
- Support stakeholder and partnership development
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tanzanian labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance.
Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy and experience with HR digital tools.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical thinking.
Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
