Position Summary 

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting Disney’s training  programs, research services, and consultancy solutions, with a strong focus on  Dar es Salaam and other key business hubs in Tanzania. This role suits a self driven professional who thrives in field marketing, relationship-building, and  performance-based compensation. 

Key Responsibilities 

The successful candidate will be expected to: 

  • Market and promote Disney’s training, research, and consultancy  services to government institutions, private companies, NGOs, and  development partners. 
  • Identify new business opportunities, clients, and strategic partnerships  within Dar es Salaam and beyond. 
  • Conduct physical visits, presentations, and follow-ups with potential  clients and decision-makers.
  • Lead promotional activities including corporate visits, networking  events, exhibitions, workshops, and conferences. 
  • Support digital marketing efforts through social media, email campaigns,  and online platforms. 
  • Develop and implement aggressive marketing and sales strategies  aligned with company targets. 
  • Prepare marketing reports, client databases, and weekly/monthly  performance updates. 
  • Strengthen Disney’s brand visibility and corporate image in the  Tanzanian market. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass  Communication, or related fields. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, or business  development (consultancy or training industry is an added advantage). • Strong familiarity with the Dar es Salaam business environment,  institutions, and corporate networks. 
  • Proven ability to meet targets and work under minimal supervision. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (both  written and verbal). 
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation.
